Here is a glimpse at what next week will look like.
Monday: Testing Tuesday: Success Club & Spring Assembly Wednesday (half day): Talent Show & Math Minute To Win It Contest Thursday (half day): Kickball Students must turn in their math TEXTBOOKS by WEDNESDAY to participate in kickball. If textbooks are not turned in by the end of the year students will not receive their final grade cards until they pay to replace the textbook. Just a friendly reminder that students are still leading the learning in the classroom. There have been some great presentations, hand outs, and activities all directed by students for students!
We will be having our test over mean, median, mode, and range on Friday, May 15, 2015. Today was the last working day in class. Presentations are as follows:
Mean --May 8 Mean Review --May 11 Median --May 12 Mode --May 13 Range --May 14 Each group will assign 10 or more problems for homework each day. I will NOT be posting individual class homework. The test on Friday, May 15 will be over finding the mean, median, mode, and range. Students have been assigned a task to present to the class. Students were assigned one of the following areas: Mean, Mean Review, Median, Mode, or Range. Students will have today, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to work in class on their lesson plans. Lesson Plans will be filled out and approved by the end of the day on Thursday, May 7. Presentations will be as follows:

There will be a test over these things and coordinate planes on May 15, 2015. Today we practiced coordinate grids. Students were given a sheet to practice on as they will need this skill to use grid paper for the MAP test.
MAP testing starts tomorrow! Remember students should get a good nights sleep and have a good breakfast in the morning! We are finishing our Earth Day Activity. No homework.
